The Euro-African Teacher Education Network on ESD Leadership aims to create a transformative and collaborative platform that champions Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) leadership across Europe and Africa. Objectives

  1. Fostering Collaboration: Establish and sustain partnerships among universities, colleges, and schools across Europe and Africa to advance ESD leadership. Facilitate joint initiatives, conferences, and exchange programs that inspire co-learning and sharing of experiences.
  2. Sharing Good Practices and Resources: Develop an online platform and resource hub for educators to share best practices, lesson plans, case studies, and research on ESD leadership. Host webinars and workshops featuring experts and practitioners in the field.
  3. Enhancing Teacher Training: Design and implement comprehensive training programs and professional development courses focused on ESD leadership. These programs will aim to improve educators’ understanding of sustainability concepts and teaching methodologies.
  4. Curriculum Development: Collaborate with institutions to co-create and adapt curricula that reflect ESD principles, integrating local ecological contexts and sustainable practices into teacher education.
